MARKETING CASE STUDY
Mountainside Preschool
Mountainside Preschool partnered with Vast Strategies to successfully launch their second location in Mechanicsburg, PA. Facing a limited marketing budget and the need to quickly fill enrollment, Vast implemented a strategic blend of digital advertising, branding, and grassroots marketing efforts. By leveraging Google Ads, paid social media ads, and retargeting, the preschool attracted over 120 attendees to their open house and enrolled three out of four classes within 24 hours.

Branding
Vast Strategies developed on-brand promotional materials, including digital and print flyers, ensuring brand consistency across platforms. The website we had originally designed was updated to prominently feature the new location and open house details, making it easy for prospective families to access essential information. We also updated their logo slightly so that it would be more impactful for their yard signs with thicker, modern fonts and a stronger icon.

Website Redesign
Mountainside Preschool needed a website that reflected its happy, bright, and nurturing environment while providing parents with essential information in an easy-to-navigate format. We designed a site that showcases the school’s philosophy, programs, and community with a colorful aesthetic and intuitive user experience. We focused on clear content organization, engaging visuals, and a mobile-friendly layout to ensure accessibility for busy parents. The result is a site that not only informs but also captures the heart of Mountainside’s approach to early childhood education, making it a valuable resource for both current and prospective families.

Marketing Strategy
To maximize visibility and enrollment, Vast Strategies took a multimedia marketing approach. Google ads and paid social media ads targeted local parents actively searching for preschools, while retargeting campaigns kept Mountainside top-of-mind for those who had visited the website. To stretch the budget further, we provided consultation on grassroots marketing efforts, guiding the preschool in distributing flyers, engaging their current families for referrals, and utilizing community spaces for promotion. These efforts resulted in a surge of website traffic, with over 1,100 new users.
